Happily Ever After?

Once upon a time, there was this girl. She was smart and beautiful and wise and funny and could make biscuits from scratch and had good hair…wait… back on track…

Anyway, this girl, she started a blog as a creative outlet, to air her thoughts, and to entertain people. Maybe even help somebody. A handful of people seemed to love it. She got kind compliments and occasionally some encouragement to keep it going, but alas…

There was a sly, old wolf…no…hold on… wrong story…

There was life. It happened to her. A lot. She got really serious about learning, Learning about herself, how to be a better mom, what she could do better as a wife, how to cope with past bullshit, hope to handle anxiety and Tourettes and OCD and manage her own business better…and all the things. She got really serious about learning all the things.

So she back-burnered the blog, cut a lot of crap from her life, and focused. She started going to therapy (which EVERYONE should get), stayed home more, worked a little smarter and a little less, and gained some weight (a dreadful detail of this story). Sure had bad cold for a spell, and her back hurt some, both of which took some getting over. She did a hella lot of work and got some big things accomplished. She dropped some heavy baggage and picked up a few habits (mostly good). She loved her kids and her hubs and her cute dog.

Here she is now. She misses writing and wants to return, share more nonsense, and lift up some poor soul out there who clearly has nothing better to do than read about her daily mess.

She’s me. I hope you’ll have me back, like, share, and support the blog so we can all live happily ever after…or at least until she (I) needs to take a break again. We never know what the next chapter holds.

I’ve missed this.
